Riverdale Ecoroof and Stormwater Facility
We were asked to design and install an ecoroof on a new art studio in a SW Portland residential community near Tryon Creek. As the building was visible from the road, the client wanted a low-impact building, and opted for an ecoroof to satisfy the City’s stormwater requirements. We designed this 100 square foot roof as a habitat area, including an undulating grade and mossy branches to create shelter for bugs and birds.
